The Chakras
The chakras are described as spinning disks of energy. The body has seven main chakras, although there are many more above and below the body called transpersonal chakras. The seven main chakras and their locations along the spine, and the colors associated with them are:

Crown Chakra
Top of the head
Violet or White
The crown chakra is about our higher self. It is where we connect to a higher consciousness.
Third Eye Chakra
Between the eyebrows
Indigo
The third eye chakra is about knowing that is seeing without eyes; intuition.
Throat Chakra

Blue
The throat chakra is about communication. Speaking your truth and being heard.
Heart Chakra
Heart
Green
The heart chakra is about love and compassion for self and others.
Solar Plexus Chakra
Solar Plexus
Yellow
The solar plexus chakra is about will and confidence.
Sacral Chakra
Three to four finger widths below the naval / above the pubic bone
Orange
The sacral chakra is the sex chakra and is about sex and money.
Root Chakra
Base of the spine
Red
The root chakra is about grounding. It is about our roots and connections to them.
